Since 2009, bpp has been working as a free theater in various constellations focusing on the topic of flight and migration. Organized as a club and collective, rehearsals and work are carried out in our own venue, the WERKRAUM.
In terms of content, the artists deal with socio-political issues and the possibilities of political theater. Comprehensive diversity is sought both in the program and in the composition of the artistic teams and partners in the projects. Together, research is carried out into topics, forms and new narratives, so that theater can be experienced today by a new audience. It tries to offer advice for currently emigrated and refugee professional stage artists, e.g. for example by providing information about funding opportunities for projects and by providing access to a large network with other theaters, groups and institutions.
